Itinerary:

Negarestan Museum is where you can learn about the roots of traditional Persian painting that can be found in the style of painting that arose during the preceding Safavid Empire. You will visit one of the best collections of 19th and 20th century Iranian Painting, including some works of Kamal al Molk who is one of the artists who introduce a more European Style to Persian Painting in this museum. Next we drive to Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts that the Iranian wind towers inspired its architecture. Beautifully designed by Kamran Diba, the museum comprises nine galleries where the art collection of Farah Pahlavi is exhibited. Collection includes masterpieces of World famous artists as Jackson Pollock, Andre Derain, Francis Bacon, Alexander Calder, Henry Moore and Max Ernst.

As the political and economic centers shift toward the East and the contemporary art of World is changing rapidly, the production of art and the creative markets are following them. Tehran is currently on of the cultural hot spots of Asia and the Middle East and the galleries in this city feature the work of some of the most exciting artists from Iran and beyond. In this tour, as we stroll through Tehran's coolest neighborhoods, we will discover the booming contemporary art scene of Tehran with the help of a local art professional. After meeting at your hotel we will drive to the Bohemian district of Tehran where we visit Art Center and walk around the neighborhood to view the latest Art exhibitions in the best contemporary art galleries of the city.
