Where is Golestan National Park?

Located in the east of Golestan province and west of North Khorasan province, the Golestan National park is one of the oldest national parks of Iran and the largest in the middle east. Due to its agreeable climate, the Golestan national park encompasses a vast diversity of ecosystems appropriate for many species. The park consists of different regions, each of which has its own unique flora and fauna characteristics. There are both forests and plateaus in this park.

Located on the east side of the Golestan national park, this 2000 hectares plateau in a good place for wild- watching.
